Thank you for your interest in seeking approval to become an OADS-approved waiver provider under MaineCare Benefits Manual (MBM) Sections 18, 20, 21, or 29.

Effective April 1, 2026, OADS has temporarily paused acceptance and review of initial applications from entities that are seeking approval to provide waiver services under MBM Sections 18, 20, 21, and 29. During this pause, OADS will not accept or process applications for initial OADS approval to provide services under these sections.

If you submitted an application prior to April 13, 2026, it would continue through the OADS review process. If you submitted an application on or after April 13, 2026, it will not be processed. If you’d like OADS to consider your application submitted on or after April 13, please resubmit it once OADS resumes processing new applications.

OADS will post updates on the Provider Application and Onboarding Resources web page when it resumes accepting new applications.
